Foil Box is the third box the player gains access to in Cut the Rope. Released Oct. 4, 2010, this box offers two new mechanics: movable rope hooks and electric sparks.
Notable levels[]
Level 3-1 introduces movable rope hooks. Not only are they able to be moved around, they can also accelerate the candy when fast movement is applied to them. The player will have to use this to their advantage in later levels.
Level 3-3 shows movable automatic rope hooks. If a candy is attached to two rope hooks at the same time, the ropes can be stretched with enough distance.
Level 3-14 show electric sparks for the first time. Like spikes, they break the candy on contact and force a restart. However, they have a set on-off interval, and the candy can safely pass through when the sparks are off. These sparks aren't too troublesome unless you're faced with multiple sets of them, such as in level 3-23.

Level Design[]
The Foil Box, as in its name, is made up of foil (though, looking at the background, it may just be a cardboard box lined with foil). Om Nom's platform has an area on the foil torn off and folded to make a platform for him to sit on, exposing the cardboard.
Changes in level design[]
Level 3-12 (modified in ver. 1.4): Removed three movable ropes and changed position of the devices, stars and Om Nom.

Achievements[]
When completing the box, the player gets the Foil Box Completed achievement. Getting three stars in each level gives the Foil Box Perfect achievement.
