The Middle Ages is the first episode of Cut The Rope: Time Travel. It features the chain and the blade, as well as introducing the player to the main gimmick of the game: 2 candies.
Overview[]
This episode takes place in medieval times. When Om Nom first lands there, he meets his medieval ancestor, who wears a Viking helmet. Throughout the episode, the player must become familiar with the main gameplay gimmick, which is dealing with two separate candies and feeding both Nommies. The chain and blades are introduced in level 1-07, where the player must cut the rope containing the blade to break the chain and feed both Nommies. Being the first episode in the game, it is relatively easy and allows the player to adapt to the gimmicks of the game.
This episode consists of 15 levels.
